What up, Creatives!

It’s been a while. Projects have been running me ragged, new job is making me nuts, and learning this whole web business is time consuming. The last few months I have gone through several emails from you regarding pricing, sales, and combination of products or product packages. Well… I read, thought (I know, shocker.) and acted. Digital Aspirin has lowered all prices 50-85% and will remain that way for the time being. This website was built as a response to all the Digital Media Websites out there that sell their items at a ludicrous price… and that’s the way I intend to keep it. With your support I want to bring you fair pricing, easy to use assets, and visual items that can help you in current or future projects. In addition to lowering prices, I am working on packaging After Effect Projects in sets of 5 – 10, at a great low price… and soon I will be able to offer BUY 3 GET 1 FREE deals on Motion Graphic Videos and Original Music.

Yes sir, the 25th Anniversary of this yearly event is here and I am extremely excited for the METALHEADZ VS BASSDRIVE II showdown at the Heathrow Lounge in Miami Beach, FL on March 27. Weekly News: New & Free Items

Now to big news… after several emails about our Original Music Section, one very long dinner with Will Miles, and a few Saki Bombs later… we have decided to sell all our current music by PERSONAL LICENSE only. As you have noticed, this first big bash of tunes is strictly of the Drum & Bass genre. A lot of people are asking us to sell these for personal use… aka. I-TUNES style. So we have decided the following:

All current and future tracks will be sold at the price of $2.50 for PERSONAL USE ONLY.

Any future track that is created for POST PRODUCTION PURPOSES, will be sold with a STANDARD LICENSE ONLY at a price of $10.

So there you have it! You yelled and we listened! Enjoy the changes, we are working very hard to keep the good stuff coming.

How We Help: Example 1

Hello all!

This particular blog was supposed to be our initial one, but because of the excitement of our website launch and the constant fixing of minor bugs… it’s been on the back burner until today!
If you are a post production professional that is new to the game, then this blog and the video below are certainly for you. As you know creating a motion graphics based video production that meets or exceeds your client’s needs / demands can take hours, days, weeks, and sometimes even months. Fortunately one of the great elements in Adobe After Effects is the ability to replace footage at any moment. This is where websites like ours can help you save time with pre-created project files.

The video below shows two promos that look similar. On the left you find a pre-created project file you can easily find on our website (http://www.digital-aspirin.com/index.php/after-effects-projects/text-viewer-4.html). This file is corporate / business in style,  image and text based, and has a particular combination of colors. The total project was created from scratch in roughly 7 hours.

On the right you can view a promotional video created for the nightclub MI-6 in South Beach. Using the pre-created file from our website, we produced a short video that gives off more of a club feel. In just 2 short hours we completed the production for the client by changing / replacing the following:

TEXT – LOGO – IMAGE to VIDEO – COLORS – SPEED

We cut time, were able to move to another production, and in the end made more money in less time. This is in a nutshell the essence Digital Aspirin’s After Effects category. With a few project files at your disposal you can mix and match assets and work multiple jobs in shorter time.

Digital Aspirin’s first week in business has come and gone, and I want to thank all of you who stopped by and took a little look at our website. Things are progressing nicely and all the little ins and outs of our project are being addressed and corrected. Now on to the good news… WE HAVE NEW ITEMS READY FOR PURCHASE! Every Monday the website will be updated with a minimum of 10 new assets. Original Tracks from Will Miles – Updated All Through This Week

I know, I know… I KNOW… No music yesterday. My apologies, but today we will have at least 10 Drum & Bass exclusive tracks from Will Miles from Miles A. Head. (http://www.myspace.com/milesahead)

We will begin our music journey exclusively with Drum & Bass / Electronic tracks for the next 4-8 weeks. After that a new genre will be introduced into the mix. Each track will be sold in License Format. Basically you will be able to purchase a track for a particular purpose. For details, check our Term of Service link.

We are Live! Digital-Aspirin.com

Friends, Family, Strangers… and anyone who can actually find us on opening day:

After 5 months of very hard work, several cups of coffee (thank you Mom) and countless sleepless nights… we are finally open for business. After 16 years of dealing with Hi-8 cameras, switchers, faders, Sony Vegas, FCP, After Effects, all and any Adobe products, HD cameras, and the world wide web in general, I have landed on this little piece of insanity called Digital Aspirin. As you have seen on our website (hopefully), we are here to help post production professionals stay one step ahead of the game. Without too much explanation… we are here to assist you in saving time and in making more money. The process of creating something we are proud of can sometimes (ok, most of the time) be extremely tedious and time consuming. We want to make our client happy and in turn, create something we can view over and over again. Of course, time is money… so sometimes creativity has to take  backseat to speed. As I always say, ‘my mortgage ain’t gonna pay itself’. At Digital Aspirin you will be able to find the Motion Graphic Backgrounds you need to spice up your edit, an After Effects Project that could be exactly what your client wants, the Original Song that defines your presentation, or the Photograph that exemplifies your client’s business.
